    3. Will other Member's ever see my contact details & address?

    Other members can see your contact address but not your email address. Mere Humsafar does not allow other members to see your address for privacy and security reasons.

    Members are allowed to contact through Mere Humsafar. On the Member's profile page which is displayed after the search results, there is a box at the end of the page where you can send message to that member.

    4. Can I add Photographs?

    Yes. You can add photograph to your profile from the "Upload Photo" button on the left hand side.

    Image size must not exceed 70 kilobytes. If you can not reduce it, send us by email, we will reduce it and upload it for you.

    5. Can I add my son/daughter's profile?

    Yes, you can add your son/daughter's profile to "Mere Humsafar" database. But while registering, please enter the name & details of the person seeking the match. Also there is a field which asks you to enter the relation with the person whom you are seeking the match for.

    Now, only registered members are allowed to view the database.

    17. Which Browsers will the site work on?

    All latest browsers with support for Cookies. "Mere Humsafar" uses cookies to store your sign-in profile.

A cookie cannot be run like a program, nor can it deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours, and it can only be read by the Web site that saved it to your computer.

    18. My user ID and password do not work.

    That's almost certainly because you are not entering them correctly. Enter them exactly as they appear in the email you will have received. Remember that they are case sensitive so "Payal" is not the same as "payal". Remember also not to enter any extra space: "payal " is not the same as "payal".

    19. Some of the ads are quite old. Are they still valid?

    People are responsible for deleting their own profiles when they are no longer valid. Most people do so because they no longer want to receive marriage proposals when they are not looking any more. Many of the older ads are still valid and if we discover that a profile is no longer valid we delete it. Sometimes people change their email address and do not keep us informed. In these cases the profile will no longer be valid, but we are not aware of it. Obviously this will be more common the older a profile is, but it should not be assumed that the majority of older profiles are invalid.

    20. How do I delete my profile?

    You can delete your profile including your picture by clicking on Delete Account button on the left hand side after you login. You have to login to your account to delete your profile. It will take some time before your account is deleted .

    21. I Forgot My Userid / Password. How do I retrieve it online?

    Click the Login button on the left and then click on the Forgot Password link and enter the Email Address registered. Userid and Password if found will be emailed immediately.

    Upload a new photo and the existing photo will be overwritten.

    22. What is I.M.S.?

    I.M.S. is an Inbuilt Messaging System. By this service you can send messages to other members and when they login they will be able to see your message. Whenever you send a message a mail is sent to the member that you have received a message from a user. The member has to clik the link in that email to view the message. These messages are saved in our database and are screened by our administrators so as to provide a clean system.

    23. How to pay by Credit Card?

    We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and American Express, Discover.

    The information needed for processing credit card payment.

    To protect both consumers and us from the stolen and fraudulent credit cards, we need the following information to process your orders.

    Your credit card number, name of card holder and the expire date.

    6. Phone number
    7. Your name as written on the card.
    8. Credit card number and expiry date.
      Credit Card Number :The account number can be up to 16 digits.

      Credit Card Expiration Date : Enter the four digit month/year of the expiration date (for example, June 2005 would be entered 06 and 05, respectively).

    9. The CVV2 value (Card Verification Value).

      The CVV2 value is a 3-digit number printed at the end of the credit card number on the signature panel on the back of the credit card.

      This is a 3-4 digit code that is found on Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. It appears on the card but nowhere else, not even on credit card statements. Its primary purpose is to validate that the user of the credit card actually has the card in hand. On Visa and Mastercard, CVV data consists of the 3-4 digits found after the card number on the signature strip on the back of the card. On American Express, CVV data consists of 3-4 digits on the front of the card, to the upper left of the card number
